According to Standard Sport, Chelsea are close to wrapping up three new deals. The London club will wrap a £17m deal for Boca Juniors defender Aaron Anselmino following a breakthrough in talks with the Argentine giants. The Blues are also preparing to announce the arrival of midfielder Omari Kellyman from Aston Villa, while striker Marc Guiu successfully passed a medical ahead of his £5m switch from Barcelona. However, Anselmino is expected to be loaned straight to Chelsea’s sister club Strasbourg in France.
Man Utd working on two deals
Manchester United reportedly remain in discussions about new contracts for veteran duo Jonny Evans(36-year-old) and Tom Heaton(38-year-old). According to Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils are keen to retain the services of the academy graduates, with their current contracts expiring next week.
Chelsea eye two new midfield recruits
According to the Daily Telegraph, Chelsea are keen on Leeds Teenage midfielder, Archie Gray, as well as Leicester’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall as they plot long-term strengthening in midfield under new manager Enzo Maresca.Tottenham and Liverpool have also been linked with Gray in the past. The 18-year-old is attracting high-profile interest after Leeds failed to secure promotion straight back to the Premier League last season.
Tottenham plan second bid for Jacob Ramsey
Tottenham are pondering a second offer for Jacob Ramsey. Spurs saw an initial bid for the former England Under-21 midfielder worth £20m plus Giovani Lo Celso rejected by Aston Villa earlier this week. According to Standard Sport, Tottenham are now weighing up a fresh approach for Ramsey, who Villa are said to value at between £40m and £50m.
