He's quick, Chelsea new signing impress and shine in pre-season training

Tosin Adarabioyo, Chelsea's first summer signing, has made a strong impression on the club's staff during the initial days of pre-season training under new coach Enzo Maresca. The 26-year-old defender joined Chelsea on a free transfer from Fulham, bolstering the team's defensive options.

As Chelsea prepares for the new season, Adarabioyo faces stiff competition for a starting spot from Levi Colwill, Benoit Badiashile, Axel Disasi, Wesley Fofana, and Trevoh Chalobah. However, his early performances have caught the attention of the coaching staff, who appreciate his dedication and quick adaptation to the new environment.

Chelsea returned to pre-season training on Monday, with a near-full squad available to Maresca. The team will embark on a US tour later this month, playing Wrexham, Club America, Celtic, Real Madrid, and Manchester City before facing Inter Milan at Stamford Bridge ahead of the season opener.

New signings and injured players have been working hard, with Maresca taking a hands-on approach to training. Adarabioyo, who returned to training a week early alongside Ben Chilwell and Trevoh Chalobah, has demonstrated a strong work ethic and made a positive first impression.

The former Fulham defender brings valuable experience, height, and leadership to Chelsea's backline. His performances will be closely watched, and it remains to be seen how frequently he will feature in the upcoming season.
