After falling behind, goals from Raheem Sterling, Cole Palmer, and Nicolas Jackson gave the Blues the victory.


Wilson Odobert’s early goal for the Clarets made it a challenging first half for the Blues, as the entire Chelsea backline did not fare well.

However, Sterling made his presence known before the half, moving into the box to unleash a cross that Ameen Al-Dakhil deflected into the goal.

After the break, Sterling once more showed to be a threat. When Vitinho fouled the winger, the penalty was quickly won by the winger, who confidently converted it.


Further proving to be a thorn in Burnley’s side, the English winger finished Conor Gallagher’s pass before crossing for Palmer, who then found Jackson to calmly complete the fourth.

Raheem Sterling (9/10)—The winger turned out to be Chelsea’s savior in the match against the Clarets, first setting up an own goal for Ameen Al-Dakhil and then winning a penalty early in the second half. Despite some setbacks, he remained a constant threat to add to Jackson’s goal by scoring a goal of his own and making a significant contribution.

Palmer (7/10)- The former Man City star had to wait a very long time to take his penalty, but he dutifully converted it to give Chelsea the lead in the second period. exhibited excellent poise in the penalty area to set up Jackson for Chelsea’s fourth goal. He fell before being replaced, hopefully nothing severe.


Moises Caicedo (7/10)— He once again demonstrated his capacity to seize upon any opposing blunder in the middle of the field and win the ball there, Caicedo created the opportunity for Raheem Sterling’s goal.

Nicolas Jackson (7/10)- showed his class against Burnley and grabbed one goal in the match, he came in as half-time substitute for Broja.
