Antonio Rudiger sends message to Kai Havertz following Chelsea defeat to Fulham

Kai Havertz has posted a message on Twitter in reaction to Chelsea’s defeat against Fulham last night in the Premier League, which received a three-word response from Antonio Rudiger.
The pressure continues to grow on the Blues following another poor result on Thursday evening, losing 2-1 at Craven Cottage against their local rivals.
Graham Potter’s side stay 10th in the league table after another loss, with Willian and Vinicius Junior scoring the match-winning goals for sixth-placed Fulham.
It was a contest where Chelsea did create a lot more chances than usual in attack, with debutant Joao Felix impressing before being sent off for a rash challenge. However, Chelsea’s defensive weakness was exposed yet again with some poor individual errors.
Kai Havertz message after Fulham
Chelsea attacker Havertz, who continues to lead the line as the No.9 forward, wasn’t clinical himself in front of goal.
He has uploaded a message on his official Instagram page after the Fulham result:
“Tough times call for togetherness. We’re as frustrated as all the fans with the way things are going at the moment. We’ll continue to work on ourselves and improve with everyday!” Havertz wrote.
Real Madrid defender Rudiger, 29, can be spotted in the comment section with some words of encouragement for his former teammate.
“Stay strong brother,” Rudiger wrote.
It’s true: Chelsea needs its players to pull together right now.
The recent results on the pitch making for horrific reading, with the performances not too much better either.
It felt like a must-win game going into the Fulham game. You feel like the same applies again for this Sunday’s match at home to Crystal Palace.
With a trip to Anfield on the horizon to face Liverpool, Chelsea simply need to get some points on the board to prevent being sucked into the bottom of the league table.
