ARS 3-0 CHE: What fans are saying about Chelsea disasterclass performance against Arsenal
Fans are all in agreement about Chelsea after another dire display away at Arsenal.
The Gunners came into the game needing a response after a four game winless run, including a 4-1 pasting at the hands of Manchester City last week.
But after Mikel Arteta made three changes to the side, Arsenal got back on track with a brilliance first half display at the Emirates.
Martin Odegaard bagged a brace by scoring virtually the same goal twice, while Gabriel Jesus provided further embarrassment to the Blues and made it third.
But Chelsea were utterly woeful again and look like they are heading towards a sixth straight defeat under interim boss Frank Lampard.
They find themselves in 12th position, level on points with a Bournemouth side who look to have secured safety from relegation.
Yet the two-time Champions League winners are such a mess at the moment that fans think they might just be in a relegation battle themselves.
One wrote: “If this season had an extra four or five matches I genuinely think Chelsea would get relegated.”
A second commented: This Chelsea side deserve to be relegated compared to teams like Leicester, Nottingham Forest and Everton. Those three teams actually try each game, showing the fans they care about the club.”
A third weighed in: “The 10 points Chelsea picked up under Tuchel in August are gonna be the reason why the won’t get relegated.”
Another said: “Chelsea should just be relegated, no point being in the Premier League.”
A fifth stated: “If the season was a few games longer I honestly think Chelsea would get relegated.”
A sixth user added: “Chelsea have spent over half a billion but our gonna get relegated.”
Chelsea are just nine points clear of the bottom three and mathematics state that they can still be relegated from the top flight.
They have a further five games remaining and still have to play Manchester City and Manchester United away from home, as well as hosting Newcastle at Stamford Bridge on the final day.
