Manchester United are set to complete the €60m transfer of Napoli centre-back Kim Min-jae on July 1st. That’s according to Il Mattino, which states that Erik ten Hag’s side will trigger the buy-out clause in his contract, which will be active during the first 15 days of July.
The report adds that the player has accepted the club’s contract offer of £9m-per-year, which accounts for around £175,000-per-week.
Man United make Mount bid
Manchester United have reportedly made a formal bid to Chelsea for Mason Mount, who looks set to leave the Blues this summer. The England midfielder has just a year left on his contract and was out of favour at times last season, as the Red Devils are said to be his preferred option to leave Chelsea. Now, United are claimed to have made a £40million offer to Chelsea for Mount – though it is way below their valuation of £70m. Now Erik ten Hag’s outfit have a decision to make as the bid will be rejected, as to whether to improve their offer or wait to see if Chelsea lower their asking price later in the window.
