Chelsea are close to securing their third major summer signing from Sevilla, the French defender Jules Kounde, has agreed personal terms with the Blues.
The Blues are said to have reached an agreement with the La Liga Club for the sale of the player, with the Stamford Bridge side offering to pay £51m upfront plus £4m in add-ons, that is according to a report by the Sun.
The report went further to claim that the player has already agreed to personal terms with the club and a deal could be completed in the coming days.
The Frenchman has been linked with FC Barcelona but the Spanish club are yet to make an official bid to Sevilla for the defender and Chelsea are said to have already moved ahead of the Catalan club in the race to sign him.
Kounde has been impressive for the La Liga giants and will jo doubt provide the needed quality the Blues will need in the defense line ahead of the new campaign.
