The Blues started very poorly in the game, losing possession in the midfield, while Dortmund was busy dominating the game and providing goal opportunities, which later yielded a beautiful counter-attacking goal by Adeyemi.

After the game, the fans singled out Havertz as the worst player of the game despite the whole squad underperforming. Havertz lacks the cutting edge to be a top striker and was losing the ball throughout the game. Alongside Havertz is Ziyech who the fans labeled as a flop and they blamed the board for not allowing Ziyech to move to PSG.
