Chelsea lead Fulham 2-0 in the final match of the Premier League Summer Series where they will lift the trophy as things stand in the competition
Gabriel Slonina – Relatively untroubled in Chelsea’s net, came under pressure early in the game but responded well. 6.
Malo Gusto – Another strong performance from the young defender who continues to look the part. A restrained outing as Ben Chilwell attacked on the opposite flank. 6.
Thiago Silva – Started the match as Chelsea’s captain and delivered a strong header to open the scoring. 6.
Bashir Humphreys – The 20-year-old continued a strong pre-season with another confident display. Really looks to have benefitted from his experience at Paderborn. 7.
Ben Chilwell – Some clumsy moments early on but became increasingly involved as the half wore on. Delivered the corner Thiago Silva converted and became a regular attacking outlet. 6.
Andrey Santos – Has never looked out of place when he’s on the pitch and once again showed he was unafraid of the physical competition in midfield. 6.
Enzo Fernandez – Had a big opportunity in the 36th minute when he was played through by Christopher Nkunku but could only force a save from Bern Leno. Solid. 6.
Carney Chukwuemeka – Improving in his understanding of his role in the Chelsea team and produced an incredible run late in the half before being denied by Bernd Leno. 6.
Raheem Sterling – Another pretty quiet outing from the winger though he did show some promise in a driving run towards the end of the half when he found Nkunku with a pull-back. 5.
Mason Burstow – Tested Fulham’s backline with his pressing and movement to ensure he occupied their focus to provide space for the players behind him. 6.
Christopher Nkunku – Spent a lot of time receiving instructions from Mauricio Pochettino as he took up his third role of pre-season so far. Comes alive when he is near the opposition box and so often appears to make the correct decision. Scored from the rebound of Chuwuemeka’s shot. 7.
