How Chelsea will lineup with Kante, James, Felix, Mudryk in next game

Chelsea will be bidding to end their four-game winless streak in all competitions on Saturday when they play host to Southampton in their next Premier League game at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues will be going into the game off the back of their disappointing 1-0 loss to Borussia Dortmund in their last UEFA Champions League game last Wednesday, and they will be looking for a victory on Saturday against Southampton to return to winning ways.

 

Match Venue And Kick-Off Time

Chelsea will welcome Southampton to Stamford Bridge on Saturday by 16:00 WAT in the Premier League, as the Blues strive to return to winning ways after a string of poor performances.

Match Preview

The Blues will be hoping to return to winning ways after three consecutive draws in the competition, a situation which sees them remain tenth on the table.

They will head into this game on the back of a 1-0 defeat against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League during the week.

Southampton are also on a poor run of form in the league, having recorded three consecutive defeats in the competition.

They lost against Aston Villa, Brentford and Wolverhampton Wanderers consecutively and will go into this game, hoping to salvage something out of it.

They currently sit at the very bottom of the table and are in danger of being relegated if they do not improve on their game.

Chelsea

Armando Broja, N’Golo Kante, Christian Pulisic and Edouard Mendy will continue on the sidelines, as they recover from injuries.

Raheem Sterling will need to be assessed ahead of the game, after missing out against West Ham United and Borussia Dortmund.

Also, Ben Chilwell is likely to miss out after coming off at halftime in the Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park.

Tino Livramento, Juan Larios and Alex McCarthy will all miss the game, no thanks to injuries.

While Kyle Walker-Peters could be involved in the game, after returning to training this week.

Chelsea will be going into the Premier League game against Southampton on Saturday with a long list of injured players, as the likes of N’Golo Kante, Armando Broja, Ben Chilwell, Christian Pulisic, Raheem Sterling, and Edouard Mendy are all in the treatment room for their respective injuries.

However, the likes of Mykhailo Mudryk, Joao Felix, Hakim Ziyech, Mason Mount and Kai Havertz are all to make the starting lineup for the game against Southampton on Saturday.
