Chelsea announce first summer signing under Todd Boehly

Chelsea Women FC have confirmed their first two signing under Todd Boehly era after completing a deal for 27 year old French international defender Eve Perisset who is joining from Bordeux after expiry of his contract.
Kadeisha Buchanan will join Chelsea from Lyon on a 5 year permanent deal untill June 2027. The 26 years old will undergo medicals at Cobham innthe coming days before completing the paperwork. Kadeisha has won 4 UWCL titles, made 33 appearances & scored 3 goals in UEFA Women Champions League; 4 Division 1 Arkema titles, 69 apps, 6 goals and 3 assists for Lyon.

Chelsea have exercised an option to extend both Jess Carter and Maren Mjelde contracts until summer 2023 after impressive performance last season that saw the club win both the England Women Super League & Womens FA Cup.

Chelsea stars Sam Kerr, Pernille Harder and Laureen James have been nominated for the Women PFA Players’ Player of the year award. Reece James & Connor Gallagher have been nominated for the Mens PFA Young Player of the Year awards.

Chelsea have received huge boost in their pursuit for reece James after reports suggested that Sevilla have already accepted that the French centre-back will join Stamford Bridge with transfer fee expected to be around €60 Million. Chelsea will close the deal as soon as possible as Tuchel looks forward to rebuild the clubs’ defence ahead of the next season. Chelsea have also reignited their intrest on Barcelona defender Sergino Dest with Marcos Alonso set to leave for Camp Nou.
