The 16-year-old Ireland International, who gained promotion to the St. Patrick’s Athletic first-team squad earlier this year has been impressive so far, scoring three goals and creating one assist in nine appearances in all competitions for the club.

His excellent performances in front of goal is believed to have attracted interests from Manchester City and Manchester United, but according to reports from Transfer News Live, Chelsea are also keen on bringing him to the Stamford Bridge.

The reports further claimed Chelsea football club are really interested in the highly-rated Mason Melia and are battling the other Premier League clubs in order to sign the striker when the transfer window opens.

it is believed that Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino wants to add more goalscoring options to his first-team squad and he has identified the young Mason Melia as one for the future.

But with Manchester United and Manchester City also lurking around, it remains to be seen where the young Mason Melia will choose to continue his developments if he gets to leave St. Patrick’s Athletic next year.
