Chelsea receive massive boost as key players return ahead of Real Madrid's UCL clash
Prior to their Champions League quarterfinal trip to Real Madrid, Chelsea has received a triple injury boost.

The Blues were given a major scare over the weekend when N’Golo Kante and Mason Mount were both ruled out of the 1-0 loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers, but both participated in Monday’s training session at Cobham.

After a disastrous first game back in charge and ahead of what will likely be the toughest away trip on the continent, it’s a tremendous lift for the English tactician.

Brazil international, Thiago Silva, who has been out of action since the injury in the defeat against Tottenham on February 26, was also spotted training alongside his teammates.

Although the ex-Paris Saint Germain center defender won’t be ready for the trip to Santiago Bernabeu, he could be included in the team for next week’s second-leg clash at Stamford Bridge.

“Raheem Sterling, Reece James, N’Golo Kante, and Mason Mount were all involved in training, with N’Golo Kante and Mason Mount absent for the trip to Wolves, according to a club statement from the West London club:

“Thiago Silva also returned to full training on the pitch. The Brazilan has been unavailable for the last seven matches owning to a knee ligament injury and has not featured for Chelsea since the conclusion of February.”
