Chelsea to launches £30m bid for Villarreal star

Chelsea football club will most definitely remain keen on further strengthening their attacking options under new manager Mauricio Pochettino.

The Stamford Bridge side struggled in front of goal for the most part of the just concluded 2022/2023 season where they ultimately finished in 12th position on the Premier League table.

Due to this, Chelsea football club will aim to perform way better in the forthcoming 2023/2024 season and are very much aware of the need to improve their team.

The Blues are currently searching for a new centre-forward and have now been linked with a transfer move for highly-rated Villarreal striker Nicolas Jackson this summer.

The 21-year-old Senegal International, who gained promotion to the Villareal first-team squad back in 2022 has been an important member of the team so far.

The young centre-forward was hugely impressive for Villarreal during the just concluded season where he scored 13 goals and provided five assists in 38 appearances in all competitions.

His excellent performances in front of goal is believed to have caught the attention of Chelsea and according to reports from Daily Mail, the Blues are keen on signing him.

The reports further claimed that Chelsea football club are really interested in Nicolas Jackson and have now started talks over a £30million move for the striker.

It is believed that Chelsea strikers Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Kai Havertz are on the verge of leaving the club and the Blues are now preparing to sign Nicolas Jackson in the summer.

However, it remains to be seen if the proposed £30million transfer offer from Chelsea football club will be enough to secure the services of Nicolas Jackson from Villarreal.
