Chelsea vs Arsenal

Chelsea take on Arsenal in the Premier League on Tuesday night looking to earn three points having gone winless in April.

The Blues will hope to take advantage of Arsenal’s stumbling form to salvage their own having suffered five defeats in a row since the appointment of Frank Lampard.

Chelsea have little to play for other than personal pride and faint hope of a place in the top half of the table.

Lampard’s side have no easy task before the end of the season to ensure they can come away with three points.

The Gunners are the first of the Premier League’s current top four, who Chelsea still needs to face, with only Newcastle to come at home.

After a five-match losing streak, Chelsea are looking to get back on track when they visit the Emirates Stadium to take on Arsenal on Tuesday.

With little left to play for, the Blues will be seeking to salvage some pride and hope for a place in the top half of the table.

We takes a look at the three changes that Frank Lampard should make to his side to secure a positive result:

Move Chalobah to the right flank: With Reece James out, Lampard may opt to move Trevoh Chalobah to the right flank. This could see Benoit Badiashile return to the side and fill his favoured position on the left side of defence.
Start Aubameyang: Lampard should consider starting Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to provide a direct opponent for the Arsenal backline. The former Arsenal striker made a difference in the previous match against Brentford and provided a focal point that Chelsea have severely lacked.
Don’t play every midfielder: Lampard should avoid playing every midfielder available to him and instead focus on more advanced options such as Joao Felix, Mykhailo Mudryk, and Noni Madueke. This would provide the creative spark that has been missing in front of goal and lead to more wins.
By making these changes, Lampard could potentially secure a positive result against Arsenal and restore some confidence to his side.
