How Chelsea will lineup to defeat Dortmund in UCL return leg at Stamford bridge

Bruno Slator will take over on a temporary basis after Graham Potter was shown the exit door by the hierarchy & could have Raheem Sterling and Wesley Fofana back fit for tomorrow’s Premier League clash against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

Both players missed Saturday’s 2-0 lost to Unai Emery’s Villa at Stamford Bridge due to hamstring problems, which was the last straw for the English tactician.

However the ikes of Cesar Azpilicueta, Thaigo Silva, Armando Broja are all unlikely to make the matchday squad owing to their respective injuries, while Tuesday’s encounter with the Refs may come too early for Edouard Mendy and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

With Mendy unlikely to be fit, Kepa Arrizabalaga will be confident of another appearance in between the sticks for the Blues, while Fofana’s potential comeback could see Cucurella drop out of the XI

Kalidou Koulibaly will retain his position in the back three, with Benoit Badiashile reintroduced allowing Reece James to revert back to his position on the right, while Reece James holds his place down the left.

Ngolo Kante had his first Premier League minutes in a long while against Villa and could come in alongside Enzo Fernandez at the expense of Mateo Kovacic.

Mason Mount who recently made a return could take the position of Mykhaylo Mudryk in the final third, the last two roles is set to taken by Joao Felix and Kai Havertz as they aim to respond to a tough couple of days at the club.
