BVB 1-0 CHE: 'Sell him out, he is holding this team back too much'

German side Borussia Dortmund could be without a key player when they make the trip to Stamford Bridge for the second-leg of our Champions League clash.

According to dpa via Daily Finland, Borussia Dortmund Goalkeeper Gregor Kobel could miss the Champions League last 16 second leg at Chelsea due to muscular problems in his thigh.

According to the Ruhr Nachrichten newspaper, “there’s very little hope” he can play against the English side following the first medical tests.

Kobel missed the 2-1 win against RB Leipzig on Friday after he complained about muscular issues during the warm-up. Last year, he was sidelined for several weeks due to a similar injury. Therefore, the club doesn’t want to take any risk.

Alexander Meyer, who played against Leipzig, is expected to start the match in London.
