Felix, Morata, Falcao, Costa, 4 Other Players Who Have Played for Both Chelsea and Atletico Madrid

Although Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are not competing in the same league, there have been some players who have played for both clubs in the past.
The most recent player to have played for both clubs, however, is João Felix.
The Portuguese star joined Chelsea on a six-month loan after he signed a new contract with the Spanish La Liga club. The Blues paid €11 million to Atletico Madrid.

João Felix’s first game for the Blues ended in him getting a red card. However, he has bounced back impressively. He scored his first goal for the Blues in a 1-1 draw against West Ham United on Saturday.

Mateja Kezman is another player who played for both clubs. The Serbian striker was one of the first signings of Jose Mourinho’s era. He flopped at the club, spending only one season with the Blues. He scored four goals in 25 appearances as Chelsea won the English Premier League title that season. He left Chelsea for Atletico Madrid after the 2004/05 season for €9 million (source: Transfermarkt).

Fernando Torres is another player who played for both Atletico Madrid and Chelsea. The Spaniard joined the Blues for €58 million before moving to Atletico Madrid.

Ramadel Falcao is also another player who played for both clubs. The Colombian striker joined the Blues on loan after an unsuccessful loan move to Manchester United. Injuries and poor form led to him returning to Atletico Madrid at the end of his loan.
