Former Chelsea star, Fikayo Tomori wins UEFA man of the match award

Chelsea Academy product Fikayo Tomori was given the Man of the Match award by UEFA on Wednesday night, following his outstanding performance for AC Milan football club in their hard-fought draw against Tottenham Hotspur football club in the return leg of the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League in London.

The former Hull City football club star has been superb for AC Milan football club in all competitions since the beginning of the season, and he was able to impress again on Wednesday night against Tottenham Hotspur football club.

The England international was given a starting role by his coach against Tottenham Hotspur football club, and he helped his goalkeeper to keep a clean sheet in the entertaining encounter.

Fikayo Tomori started in AC Milan’s defence line alongside Pierre Kalulu, Theo Hernandez and Malick Thiaw and they were all fantastic in the game.

Both teams efforts to score throughout the entire duration of the game were not successful, as the match ended in a goalless draw.

The draw against Tottenham Hotspur football club has now given AC Milan football club the opportunity to progress to the next round of the UEFA Champions League, having secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over the same opponent in the first leg at San Siro Stadium in Italy few weeks ago.
