Frank Lampard calls 14-year-old young star to Chelsea first team training

Chelsea youngster Charlie Holland has been spotted being given a fantastic opportunity to train with the first team today.
A video published by Football Daily shows Frank Lampard has given the 14-year-old the call-up to train with the squad who are preparing for Saturday’s Premier League match against Nottingham Forest.
Information from Chelsea Youth on Twitter shares that Holland has been the captain of the U14s side this season that recently achieved great success in the Albert Phelan Cup.
They defeated Fulham 5-0, with the result showcasing there is plenty to be excited about regarding the future at Stamford Bridge.
Lampard has not been afraid to have young players involved in training since coming in to the club on a temporary basis until the end of the season.
Lampard calls up Holland
Yesterday saw goalkeeper Eddie Beach involved, despite him not yet making his Chelsea debut. It also looks difficult to see him making it anytime soon.
There may be a deeper dive into the youth squads after a number of Blues were called up to represent England in their U20 World Cup efforts in Argentina later this month.
Carney Chukwuemeka is set to play a big role for the Young Lions, while he has been joined in the squad by Harvey Vale, Teddy Sherman-Lowe and Bashir Humphreys, who lined up against Manchester City earlier this season in the FA Cup.
The call-up means the former Aston Villa man has played his last minutes of season for his new club, ultimately making the last 12 months a bit of a waste in terms of his development.
As for Holland, the experience to play alongside players like Enzo Fernandez and Joao Felix can only be seen as a positive for his personal development.
