Full list of Chelsea players that will unavailable in the UCL game against Dortmund

Chelsea football club will begin their hunt for another UEFA champions league crown this midweek when they take on Borrusia Dortmund in the first game of the UEFA champions league knockout stage, Graham potter will hope to enjoy some successful story with the club just like his predecessor Thomas Tuchel did.

He will be aiming to pick up a valuable first leg victory without some of his key players.


Benoit Badiashile. The January signing have so far been immense alongside Thiago silva in the central defensive position, together they have kept three clean sheets in their last four games together, he was omitted from the UEFA champions league team list by Graham potter and so will miss this seasons competition.

N’Golo Kante. The iconic midfielder will be a big miss for Graham Potter, he is one player who usually thrives the most in this competition but his lack of fitness will keep him out.

Denis Zakaria. Another player who will be a big miss in this game is midfielder Denis Zakaria, he is back in training but will likely seat out this game.

Other players who will be absent due to injury includes goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, winger Christian Pulisic, young center forward Armando Broja while the likes of Raheem Sterling, Wesley Fofana and Kalidou Koulibaly will all be expected to pass a late fitness test.
