Graham Potter’s poor stats cause Chelsea half time woe

Chelsea football club head coach Graham Potter once again fielded a starting lineup that had raised eyebrows across Stamford bridge, he has reverted to the famous 3-4-3 formation with Kalidou Koulibaly, Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile all starting in defence.

While many will accept that defensive shuffle due to the absence of Thiago Silva and Reece James, in attack he has got things a little bit complicated and we have picked out three tactical errors he made there.

Kai Havertz upfront. Playing the German upfront has failed to work for Chelsea but the coach seems not to be concerned about that, he has given him a start today ahead of David Datro Fofana.

Denis Zakaria. The midfielder made his comeback against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend but rather than build on that, he has reverted to Mateo Kovacic in midfield alongside Enzo Fernandez.
