How Julian Nagelsmann arrival could helps Chelsea and Joao Felix
Julian Nagelsmann has emerged as the front-runner to become Chelsea’s next manager after positive talks with the club last week.
If Nagelsmann eventually arrives at Chelsea in the summer one can almost guarantee that Joao Felix will not be signed permanently. The reason is simple – Nagelsmann will use Christopher Nkunku in the same position Felix currently plays at Chelsea — attacking midfield.
Nagelsmann tutored Nkunku during their time together at RB Leipzig before the German tactician moved to Bayern Munich.
It’s easy to imagine how Chelsea will set up next season with Nkunku as the AM.
Felix has not really impressed fans with creativity and goalscoring since arriving from Atletico Madrid in January. The Portuguese attacker has shown he’s a great dribbler but that’s about it.
