How Mauricio Pochettino could lineup Chelsea with Nkunku, Santos, Felix, Fernandez
Chelsea will undergo an important overhaul this summer, and Mauricio Pochettino may be the right candidate to oversee the project.

The candidate most likely to succeed Graham Potter, who was fired from his position as Blues gaffer earlier this month after only seven months in charge, is the former Paris Saint Germain boss.

The West Londoners are expected to be one of the top spenders once more, despite having spent an astounding £541 million since Todd Boehly took control last summer. And Pochettino, if he were to be appointed, could alter the present structure in a number of ways.

With both Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy underwhelming in goal, the Ex-Spurs gaffer will need to make a choice on goalkeepers. If he chooses to select a new player in the position, one of them will have to depart, but the Spain international appears to be in a better position.

The Argentine tactician prefers offensive full-backs after having success on both sides of the field with Kyle Walker and Danny Rose during his time at the other half of London with Spurs.

The addition of France international, Malo Gusto from Lyon will help Chelsea next season, but Reece James will still be an important member of the squad despite being limited by injury this year. Ben Chilwell and Marc Cucurella appear to be the clear-cut candidates for the left-back position.

After agreeing to a new contract in February to stay in west London for another year, Thiago Silva’s spectacular career will continue at Stamford Bridge.

Despite spending a lot on defenders Pochettino could go into the market to add another centre-back, Josvo Josko Gvardiol could be signed to provide more stability and offensively, this campaign has seen the Blues struggle to get goals which could see them secure the services of Rasmus Hojlund.
