Chelsea’s lineup is expected to be more exciting next season than it was during the last season. It’s an exaggeration to claim that Chelsea’s lineup during the last season was exciting.
I mean, it was expected to be exciting last season because of the new Signings that the West London club made last summer but the club were terrible for most of the campaign.
However, the Blues have started to prepare for a new season and it won’t include many of the Players from last season.
The West London club has already sold Kalidou Koulibaly, Edouard Mendy, Hakim Ziyech, Mateo Kovacic, Kai Havertz and Ruben Loftus-Cheek while N’golo Kante has left on free transfer. Spanish Captain Cesar Azpilicueta is also expected to leave Stamford Bridge as Chelsea will terminate his contract.
With Mauricio Pochettino’s willingness to work with Kepa Arrizabalaga at Chelsea next season, the Spanish Goalkeeper will become the number 1 Goalkeeper at Chelsea.
Reece James and Ben Chilwell are expected to be the Fullbacks with Levi Colwill and Wesley Fofana as Central-backs.
Chelsea are expected to bring Moises Caicedo to Stamford Bridge this summer and the Ecuadorian Midfielder would be Enzo Fernandez’s partner in Chelsea’s Midfield next season.
With Nkunku already in the team, the Frenchman is likely going to play as an attacking Midfielder next season, with Noni Madueke and Mykhailo Mudryk as Wide Forwards. Nicolas Jackson might play a prominent role as Chelsea’s Forward next season.
