Ian Wright has made his score prediction ahead of Chelsea against Arsenal on Saturday evening.
For Chelsea, they kickstart a difficult run of Premier League fixtures by hosting in-form Arsenal at Stamford Bridge this weekend.
The Blues have a poor record in recent times against the Gunners, losing six of the previous seven encounters across all competitions.
It’ll be interesting to see what Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino can do during his first experience of this eye-catching fixture, though.
In fairness, Pochettino’s side have started to click into gear during recent games with some performances and results. But they’ll definitely need to raise their levels once again versus Mikel Arteta’s well established Arsenal team.
Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright believes that his old club will come away from Stamford Bridge with yet another three points to continue their early-season form.
“I think we’re beating them. We always cause Chelsea problems at Stamford Bridge. 2-1 Arsenal,” Wright told The Overlap.

There’s quite the gap between the two teams in the league standings right now, but this weekend may be a much tighter game than some people are initially expecting.
Chelsea sit 11th in the league table with only 11 points from eight games. Meanwhile, Arsenal sit second in the table with 20 points on the board already.
Interestingly, the Premier League’s official website shared this week that Chelsea sit fourth in the table based solely off xG (expected goals). Arsenal sit just a spot higher in third position via that metric.
The proof is there that Chelsea are playing some creative football since Pochettino took charge in the summer, but he’s now relying on his forwards to bury some of these golden goalscoring opportunities.
One of the main headache selection going into Saturday has to be over the centre-forward position. So will Armando Broja or Nicolas Jackson get the nod in the starting XI for Chelsea?
