Joao Felix shirt number reveals in Chelsea

According to multiple reports, Joao Felix is close to switching from Wanda Metropolitano to Stamford bridge in the ongoing winter transfer window. The Portuguese National has been reportedly spotted at the airport to travel to London where he will complete his move to Chelsea.

The West London club was able to snatch Joao Felix on loan this Winter amid Manchester United’s strong interest in him.

Joao Felix has a finite option when it comes to the shirt number that he can wear at Chelsea. Of course, he would prefer to wear shirt number 7 which he was wearing at Atletico Madrid but it’s unlikely that Chelsea will take that jersey away from N’Golo Kante and hand it over to Joao Felix.

Most of the shirt number that naturally belongs to Attackers is currently unavailable at Chelsea. Shirt numbers 7, 8, 9 and 10 among others are all unavailable at Chelsea

At the moment, the only shirt number available at Chelsea that befit a Forward is shirt number 11. Timo Werner was the custodian of the shirt number at Chelsea before he left for Rb Leipzig last summer.

Despite the arrival of Raheem Sterling and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang last summer, none of them took the shirt number 9. David Datro Fofana was also not given the shirt number after joining Chelsea from Molde FK this January.
