Trevoh Chalobah, a 24-year-old England International who gained promotion to the Chelsea first-team squad back in 2021 is yet to secure a starting spot in the Chelsea team over the previous seasons.
The young centre-back made 34 appearances for Chelsea football club last season, but then he has been plagued with varying injuries since the start of this season.
Trevoh Chalobah is yet to make any competitive appearance for Chelsea football club since the start of this season and the West London club could be prepared to offload him.
Malang Sarr on the other hand has been deemed surplus to requirements at Chelsea football club since he made the move from Ligue 1 side OGC Nice back in 2020.
Malang sarr was sent out on loan to AS Monaco during the 2022/2023 season where he made 17 appearances for the Ligue 1 side. Malang Sarr is back at Chelsea football club but he is also yet to make any competitive appearance for the club so far this season.
Despite this, AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho is currently monitoring the situations of both defenders and according to reports from The Sun, the AS Roma manager is keen on signing both players from Chelsea.
And with Chelsea willing to offload fringe players, it remains to be seen it AS Roma will be able to reach quick agreements with Chelsea football club and secure the signings of Malang Sarr and Trevoh Chalobah next year.
