Medical tests completed, paperworks and agreement signed announcement imminent as Chelsea sign Christopher Nkunku from Leipzig

Chelsea have completed signing of Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig according to Romano Fabrizio reports that all documents have been signed.
Nkunku caught the eye with his fine form last season, netting 20 and grabbing 15 assists for Leipzig in the Bundesliga, and has continued in similar vein this campaign, with 12 goals and 2 assists in 15 outings so far in the German top flight this campaign.
The Frenchman was in line to play at the World Cup, only to be forced to withdraw with an injury picked up in training before the tournament began, and he is expected to be sidelined until February after knee surgery.
However, he will be fit again come the end of the campaign, and will represent yet another big addition under the new ownership of Todd Boehly, following a record-breaking summer last transfer window, in whichĀ Kalidou Koulibaly, Marc Cucurella, Wesley Fofana and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang all joined the club.
He becomes the second addition under Graham Potter, withĀ David Datro FofanaĀ having also reached an agreement to join the club from Norweigian outfit Molde in January. The 19-year-old striker, who scored 15 times in 24 Norweigian top-flight outings, is making the switch for a fee in excess of 10m euros.
Chelsea are also expected to explore the market for short-term solutions to their striker issue following Armando Broja being ruled out for the remainder of the season. Cristiano Ronaldo, Joao Felix, Matheus Cunha and Memphis Depay have all been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this January
