NFO 1-1 CHE: Not how we want to start the new year

Chelsea were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw against relegation candidates Nottingham Forest. The Blues put in a poor performance and didn’t really deserve to get all three points.
“Disappointing, of course,” Cesar Azpilicueta told Sky Sports post-match.
“That’s not the way we wanted to start the new year. Disappointed to lose two points. In the first half we had more control, we weren’t that dangerous to score the second goal. In the set piece we lost two points.
“Disappointed to concede a goal after three touches in our box. These are the areas we cannot let teams score [from].
“We have to stick together. In difficult moments we need to stick together, improve, stay humble and win games. We have a massive game against Man City at the Bridge. We have to start winning points.”
Azpilicueta captained the team and was one of the worst players on the pitch, conceding the corner that led to Forest’s goal. He failed to properly mark Serge Aurier when he scored.
