Barca Star Set To Join LaLiga Rivals
The permanent transfer of Antoine Griezmann to Atletico Madrid from Barcelona is close to being resolved following discussions between the two clubs. The deal is believed to be in the region of ā¬20 million, with ā¬2 million in variables. Matteo Moretto suggested that Griezmann never considered leaving Atletico in the process of the deal.
Chelsea Pondering Swap Deal For Leao
Chelsea and AC Milan are reportedly both considering a swap deal for the Portuguese winger Rafael Leao. The Italian champions are interested in Callum Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic, but would still demand an £90 million fee in any deal to let Leao leave San Siro according to Calciomercato.com.
Benzema to be handed new Real Madrid deal
French forward Karim Benzema is set to be handed a new deal by Real Madrid after a stellar 18 months. The striker helped Los Blancos win the Champions League for the 14th time, scoring 44 goals and assisting 15. He is also expected to win the Ballon d’Or for the first time in his career following on from his remarkable season last time out.
Everton interested in triggering permanent Coady signing
There was some surprise that Everton were able to prise Conor Coady away from Wolves in the summer given his status at Molineux. He has played a key role in the best defence in the Premier League so far. Such has been the quality of his performances, the Toffees are already considering triggering the option-to-buy clause in the loan deal, according to The Times. The fee that Everton would have to pay is reportedly less than £10m.

Josip Ilicic has returned to Maribor after leaving Atalanta as a free agent. The Slovenian international played five games for the club in 2010 before moving to Italy and Palermo. He remained in the country ever since, playing for Fiorentina and Atalanta, but has now moved back to his national country.
