PFA AWARDS: Fans react as Caicedo gets nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year award

Chelsea submit highest bid for Moises Caicedo after Liverpool's £111m rejected by him
Chelsea new boy, Moises Caicedo has been nominated by the professional footballers trade union for the young player of the year award. The 21 year old who joined the Blues on club record deal from Brighton will battle give other Premier League players for the prestigious award.

The other five players are Manchester City forward, Erling Haaland, Arsenal stars, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka, Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey and former teammate, Evan Ferguson.

Reactions after Caicedo was nominated by PFA

The Ecuadorian midfielder could become the next Chelsea player to win the award after former Chelsea star, Eden Hazard won it in 2014. The current holder of the award is Manchester City’s Phil Foden who won it last year.

The Professional footballers trade union also released six nominees for the Player’s player of the year award and they are Kevin De Bryune, Erling Haaland, Harry Kane, Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and John Stones
