Pochettino gives Mudryk and Caicedo injury update

Mykhaylo Mudryk scored his first Chelsea goal in the 2-0 victory against Fulham but had to come off at half-time.

Mauricio Pochettino has provided an update on the Ukraine winger: “He felt something in his quad which we need to assess.

“He didn’t feel comfortable to keep playing. We hope it’s not a big issue, we hope it’s nothing big and he can be available for Saturday.”

Another concern is Moises Caicedo, who hobbled off in stoppage time. Poch said of the Ecuadorian: “It was a contusion. Hopefully it’s nothing serious, he was tired and we will see.”

Hopefully both will be available to face Burnley on Saturday.
