Real reason Todd Boehly, other owners are always in Chelsea’s dressing room

Todd Boehly set to take over Chelsea after winning bid race, and fix players contract extension

Football Executive Humphrey Ker has revealed why Chelsea owners, Todd Boehly and co, are a constant presence in the club’s changing room.

This is following questions over whether Boehly and the other owners of the club should be in the dressing room.

The club’s executive director Ker said that Wrexham’s co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are “never out of the dressing room.”

According to him, this is because the new owners have decided to do things differently from what was the case during the time of Roman Abramovich.

“We like to do things a bit differently at Wrexham,” Ker said on talkSPORT.

He said the aim is to make the dressing room a fun place and establish a cordial relationship between the players, management and owners.

“One thing we’ve tried to really foster at Wrexham is the relationship between the players, the management and the ownership – that we’re all in this together pulling in the same direction.

“Rob and Ryan are never out of the dressing room, to be honest, when they are over [from the US].

“They wait until after the game. We hope it makes it a fun place,” he said.
