Chelsea captain Reece James is pushing himself to get back to full fitness after he international break.
There was hope among some fans that he could be back in action to start against Arsenal on October 21.
However, as per Football London, it is still ‘too early’ to tell if James will be fit enough for that game.
The 23-year-old is progressing well with his rehabilitation work from the hamstring issue suffered in August.
However, there is still uncertainty over his ability to make himself ready for selection for matches after the international break.
As a result, he probably has a low probability of starting the game against Arsenal next week.
Malo Gusto, who is now available after serving out his suspension, is in line to start at right-back and replace Mar Cucurella.
