Chelsea complete Southampton star signing Romeo Lavia as he already sends goodbye message to teammates and fans ahead of the announcement.
According to Sky Sports, Southampton star player Romeo Lavia is being chased by Liverpool and Chelsea. Despite Liverpool striking a deal first, the Blues have now agreed terms with Southampton over a potential move for the midfielder. The top player made it clear that he wants to join Chelsea. According to Sky Sports, the Southampton midfielder has completed his Chelsea medical as the deal is worth an initial fee of £53m plus £5m in add-ons.
Sky Sports reports that personal terms between Chelsea and the Southampton midfielder is not expected to be a problem.
Jurgen Klopp side already missed out on Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo to Chelsea who signed him for a British record of £115m. Chelsea would be looking to add the Southampton midfielder to the squad as they are keen on improving the team’s quality heading into the season.
