Reports have claimed that Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher is now worried that his future at the club will see him left on the bench.

According to 90min, the player is now willing to leave this summer in order to make regular first team football a realistic prospect next season.

Gallagher has featured heavily in both pre-season victories for Chelsea this summer, and has actually been one of the most impressive players under the new manager so far.

However, this has not seen rumours disappear over him potentially being on the move, with a number of Premier League sides obviously interested in a deal for the ‘fantastic’ player.

West Ham United have established themselves as the favourites for the deal, with them recently seeing a large cash injection off the back of the sale of Declan Rice.

They have now had a big bid rejected by the Blues, with the hope being that they can hold out for a large sum to add to their already very profitable summer.

It is not expected that this will be the end of Premier League club’s interest in him, and the Blues are already reportedly seeking alternatives if he does move in.

They are reportedly close to agreeing personal terms regarding the signing of Mohammed Kudus from Ajax. The attacking midfielder has even missed training with his current club today.

The Blues would likely prefer to sell Gallagher to a club like West Ham rather than Tottenham, who are another extremely interested party in his services.

This is because there are fears at the club that they are beginning to strengthen rivals to a degree that is not healthy, shown by some of their sales so far this summer.

Mason Mount and Mateo Kovacic have already made moves to Manchester United and Manchester City respectively.
