Blues set £67m deal for Dusan Vlahovic

Chelsea are in the market for a new striker and goalkeeper this summer, with Mauricio Pochettino eager to further bolster his options at either end of the pitch.

Mauricio Pochettino could build the perfect Chelsea starting lineup with the signings of Dusan Vlahovic and Robert Sanchez. The duo have both been heavily linked with moves to Stamford Bridge this summer as the Blues look to further bolster their options at either end of the pitch.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea has reignited their interest in the Juventus striker, Vlahovic on £67m deal and they’re now back in talks with the Old Lady via intermediaries. The report states that a potential swap deal with Romelu Lukaku has – again – been discussed, but the Italian giants insist on negotiating with the Belgian.

So, with that being said, football.London has taken a look at how the Blues could line up against Liverpool if Pochettino can get his hands on Vlahovic and Sanchez, who could cost a combined £68.5million.

Chelsea set £45m price for Inter Milan target Chalobah

Chelsea have set their asking price for Trevoh Chalobah.

The defender is ready to leave Chelsea as they close a deal for AS Monaco stopper Axel Disasi.

Chalobah is keen on a move to Italy, where he has fielded interest from Inter Milan.

However, the Blues will have to drop their initial price for any chance of such a deal being completed.

The London Evening Standard says Chelsea want £45m to sell their wantaway defender.

Caicedo signs, Kudus deal – Chelsea’s dream final month of transfer window

football. London takes an extensive look at what would be considered a ‘dream’ final month to the 2023 summer transfer window for Chelsea and Mauricio Pochettino

We are now into August – which means for Chelsea, there is only a month remaining of the 2023 summer transfer window as Mauricio Pochettino looks to improve his squad.

It has been another summer of transition for the club, with Pochettino taking over as the permanent head coach following Graham Potter’s departure last season. The Argentine has already got some of his ideas across to his new group of players, as we have seen during Chelsea’s pre-season tour of the United States in recent weeks.

However, with 13 players leaving the club already this window – and with the possibility of more doing the same in the coming weeks – the squad has become unbalanced. The club, though, is working hard behind the scenes to try and ensure the squad is in the best possible condition by the time the transfer window closes.

So with a month of the window remaining, there is still plenty of work to be done by Chelsea. With that said football. London takes a deep dive into what would be considered the ‘dream’ outcome of the window for everyone involved at Chelsea.

Moises Caicedo to Chelsea has undoubtedly what we call a transfer saga. The Blues have been in talks with Brighton for months over a deal to sign the Ecuador international, but the Seagulls remain intent they will not sell the midfielder unless Chelsea meet their £100million valuation.

Thus far, Chelsea has seen three offers rejected, with the latest one understood to be around £80m altogether. Talks are ongoing with Brighton, football.London understands, and there remains confidence from a Chelsea point of view that they will get this deal over the line. When, however, remains a mystery to all of us.

So Chelsea is looking for more creativity and Kudus has been identified as someone who fits that particular bill. No offer has yet been made to Ajax but initial discussions have taken place and the Dutch club may be open to selling the Ghana international at the right price considering his contract status.

Nothing yet, though, is advanced between the two clubs. Chelsea will once again talk with Ajax before the month is over, however, as they look to bring Kudus to the Bridge.

A deal to bring Disasi to West London is now in its final stages, with just a few minor details to be settled upon. Disasi is set to complete his move to Chelsea very shortly.

Arsenal transfer: New Raya price set as Edu secures windfall for more signings

All the latest Arsenal transfer news including updates on David Raya, Auston Trusty, and Ivan Fresneda.

Your morning Arsenal transfer roundup is on Tuesday, August 1.

New Raya price

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal will offer around £ 15 million for Brentford goalkeeper David Raya, with the West London club said to want at least £30 million for the Spanish international. That price would at least be significantly less than the £40 million Bees manager Thomas Frank has claimed the player is worth.

“All the links, all the hustle and bustle, and if it gets done we’ll know it”, Frank said when asked about the player on Sunday. “I don’t know too much. I am not dealing with it…

“Like everything, it is a negotiation. I would love to get £40 million. He was one of the four best keepers in the Premier League last season.

Trusty windfall

Sheffield United are closing in on a deal to sign Arsenal defender Auston Trusty, according to Sky Sports.

Their report claims that United has agreed to a £5 million fee with the North Londoners for the American international. Trusty is also expected to travel to Sheffield to have a medical once the deal between the two clubs is eventually finalized.

Fresneda blow

Arsenal had been heavily linked with a move for Real Valladolid fullback Ivan Fresneda earlier this summer.

However, they could be about to miss out on a move for the highly-rated youngster, with Barcelona now in talks with Valladolid over a potential deal for Fresneda, according to Spanish transfer guru Gerard Romero, via Football Espana. Romero has claimed that the Bluagrana has offered €8 million (£6.9 million) upfront plus potential future add-ons, as well as the possibility of including youngster Estanis Pedrola in a potential deal.
