Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta believe that the club has to bring in at least two players in this January transfer. A midfielder and a striker will be good for the club. The gunners have been linked to a number of new players including Dusan Vlahovic, Arthur Melo and the recent stories from England claim that the gunners are close to agree a permanent deal with Man United target.
Dennis Zakaria is a highly talented midfielder who plays in Germany Bundesliga for Borrusia Mochengladbach. Borussia Monchengladbach have recently confirmed that midfielder Denis Zakaria will not be signing a new contract, meaning his contract at the club will expire in July 2022. Arsenal want to utilize this opportunity to bring in a new midfielder.
The gunners are also in contact with Juventus Star Arthur Melo. The Italian side are reluctant to let Melo leave in this January transfer but the north London club are pushing harder to convince the player to join Arsenal. Arteta is looking for a long term replacement for Grannit Xhaka who is aging.
Zakaria looks cheap to convince and he is valued at £6m. Manchester United have been considering this player but it seems the gunners have taken the lead in the race for his signature.Dušan Vlahović future.
