What Eden Hazard did, Joao Felix spotted laughing with Vini in the dressing room after Chelsea UCL exit
Joao Felix was left on the bench last night as Real Madrid sent Chelsea packing from this season’s UEFA Champions League.
The Portuguese attacker started in the first leg played last week at the Santiago Bernabeu where he missed a glorious opportunity to put Chelsea ahead. Rewatch the moment below.

Perhaps, Felix’s performance in the first leg was the deciding factor behind his relegation to the bench as Frank Lampard opted to start Conor Gallagher and Kai Havertz in attack yesterday.
Felix was later brought on during the second half in place of Gallagher but couldn’t help Chelsea score a goal.
After the match, the Atletico Madrid loanee was surprisingly seen laughing with Vinicius Junior who played a major role in eliminating Chelsea from the UCL.
Of course, Felix has the right to converse with an opponent even after a defeat, but to do so while laughing suggests he doesn’t care about the fans’ feelings.
If he wants to be part of the long-term project at Chelsea, then he needs to apologize to supporters for displaying an unconcerned attitude right after the team were beaten in their own backyard.
Eden Hazard laughed with Kurt Zouma after Chelsea eliminated Real Madrid in the UCL two years ago and duly apologized to ‘Madridistas’, so Felix owes Chelsea supporters an apology as well unless he wants to tell the watching world that he doesn’t care.
