Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez left his teammates and coaches very impressed by a save he made in training today.
A video published by the club’s official Instagram account shows the Spaniard showing great reflexes to get across and make a stop from a close-range effort.
This week will have been big for Sanchez after what occurred in his last outing for the Blues last weekend.
He made a big mistake when things were looking far too comfortable against Arsenal. Chelsea were 2-0 up with a quarter of an hour to go.
However, he accidentally picked out Declan Rice who found the net from distance, sparking a comeback draw for the domestically unbeaten Gunners.
Pundits were quick to criticize the 25-year-old for his part in the goal, with it hard to imagine the Blues slipping up if it had not happened.
Mauricio Pochettino was quick to come out and defend his player in the media, claiming the club are very happy with what he has given them so far.

The Argentinian will have also been happy to seemingly see his Number One bounce back on the training pitch this week.
Sanchez impresses in training
A video on the Instagram of the club shows a montage of him making a number of excellent saves, as well as his deputy Djordje Petrovic.
There has been talk that the former MLS star should now be given an opportunity between the sticks as a result of a poor outing from Sanchez.
However, it would not be wise to do this for the manager, with it important that all of his players can feel confident enough to bounce back from a mistake.
With an EFL Cup match against Blackburn coming soon, that is perhaps where Pochettino should hand Petrovic his debut, where the stakes for the club are also quite a bit lower against lower league opposition.
