What Wesley Fofana said ahead of their premier league game against Leeds

Poor Wesley Fofana missed most of his final year with Leicester after a horrible leg break – but Chelsea were still willing to take a risk signing him last summer.

Sadly he picked up another fitness problem early on, and he’s missed 4 months of this campaign too.

Speaking to the Chelsea TV cameras at Cobham today, he said his focus was just to get fit and “push more” to stay injury free.

With Thiago Silva now out for some time, Fofana’s chance has finally arrived. Let’s hope his body doesn’t let him down again.
