There have been reports that Chelsea Football Club will display a banner for Eden Hazard at Stamford Bridge tomorrow before the kick off of London derby game against Arsenal, but I think that it will be a wrong idea for them to do that.
The reason why I think that Chelsea shouldn’t display a banner for Eden Hazard at the Bridge tomorrow is due to the fact that; Eden Hazard wasn’t their player anymore before he retired.
Hazard left Chelsea at the end of the 2018/2019 season for Spanish club Real Madrid, and since then injuries has affected his performance and that made him to terminate his contract with the club.
After leaving Real Madrid he had to retire from the game permanently, and now Chelsea have decided to display his banner even when he has left them a long time ago. I think it’s a very bad idea.
